EVOLVE BACK KAMALAPURA PALACE, HAMPI

With its grand fort-like entrance, stone-paved boulevard, arched hallways, and regal suites, Evolve Back, Hampi pays homage to the Vijayanagara Courtly style of architecture, celebrating the culture and lifestyle of the region. Hindu-style arches ending in pinnacles, teardrop-shaped balustrades, and bay windows complement the rough stone floors and dark wood furniture. The lotus, a motif prominently featured in the ruins of Hampi, is woven throughout the interior spaces and water bodies. While some arches are minimalistic and utilitarian, others are curved, elaborate, and floral in design.
